Only one ethernet port working in great basin? (also selling NBA 2K22 for the ps5)

So I recently got a ps5 and since our rooms in great basin have two ethernet plugs on each side I thought it would be a good idea to plug my pc into one and my ps5 into the other. For some reason, when I plugged my ps5 into the one on the right, it doesn't work, but when its plugged into the left one it works fine.
