As such, the goals and the means of the criminal justice process and the student conduct process do not align.
Most likely you would get a zero on the assignment. In college, there is often no such thing as partial credit or late work. The only way you have a minute possibility of getting an extension for the assignment is if extenuating circumstances were in play. Saying your dog ate your homework will not fly. Instead, you must have been verifiably sick.

John MayerA running joke about Boston's Berklee College of Music is that students often don't finish their training at the school, and John Mayer is one of them. Although he attended the school in 1998, the class and course work overwhelmed him and he dropped out.May 19, 2019
The Berklee school of music ranking is always in the top five of any ranking, oftentimes second only to Juilliard. But unlike Juilliard with its emphasis on the classical arts, Berklee is a distinctively contemporary music school. Its philosophy holds that music can be best taught through the music of the time.

Attorneys may serve as advisors during the student conduct process. However, they may not represent or speak on behalf of the student during the proceedings. If a student would like to have an attorney serve as their advisor, they must contact the Office of Community Standards and Conflict Resolution to make them aware of this in advance of the meeting. Students are expected to represent themselves in all student conduct matters, whether or not they are also facing other proceedings related to the same conduct. Should the actions of an advisor become disruptive, they may be asked to leave. In addition, the Office of Community Standards and Conflict Resolution will communicate directly with the student at all times, and not through any third party.
Berklee has an interest in maintaining a safe community and appropriate standards of conduct for its students. This includes both on- and off-campus behavior, which can have an impact on the institution's community and mission.
The criminal justice system and the Student Code of Community Standards are not mutually exclusive. By virtue of being a student, you are responsible for upholding the standards of behavior in the Student Code of Community Standards.
If you fail a dissertation, you will usually be given an opportunity to re-submit it by an agreed-upon date. As with a module failure, the marks awarded for a re-submitted dissertation will usually be capped at a bare pass level. It is worth noting that a complete failure of a dissertation is rare at UK universities, and typically occurs only if a student has neglected to meet with their supervisor at regular intervals, or neglected to submit drafts in advance of the final submission.
If you fail an entire module you are usually required to re-sit the assessments, either by re-submitting the coursework or, in some cases, by resitting an exam. The form of the assessment will be decided according to the existing module guidelines, university regulations, and the decisions of the lecturer and board of examiners.
If a student is found to have copied work from another source or used the ideas of others without citing their sources appropriately, they may receive a failing mark. In serious cases the matter can be referred to a University Ethics Board, that will have the authority to take a range of measures against the student.
As the semester is rapidly approaching, and as I believe it is important to keep students abreast of what I believe is happening, here are my thoughts on reopening. Keep in mind I have no non-public information and I’m not speaking for the University in any way.
I've always been pretty socially awkward but I was able to make friends during the first semester of freshman year back when school was in person. I lost most of them over the course of the pandemic and quarantine though.
