The Course Grade is based on ALL of the assignments in the course. If the student had the same work attempted above, but there were 38 graded assignments in the course, the students course grade could be 2%. Here it is in Math terms: Current Grade is points earned divided by points attempted while Course Grade is points earned divided by total possible points.

Checking Progress. In the top right corner of the course there is a "Current Grade" and a "Course Grade." The Current Grade shows only the average of all assignments that the student has completed so far.
Often times the tutorials will ask you to complete some kind of activity or check point. Do not spend a lot of time on these since they are not graded.
