First-year applicants not offered first-year admission who have first-generation college student status have the opportunity to apply as a transfer student through the First-Generation Pathway Program. First-generation status includes applicants whose parents did not complete a baccalaureate degree.
REPP students attend a participating REPP institution for two years then attend Georgia Tech for two years within one of the College of Engineering’s undergraduate degree programs. Upon completion of the engineering program, students receive a bachelor’s degree at Georgia Tech.
Healthcare Science Pathway/Connections - This course provides students with an exploratory introduction to several healthcare careers and the safety procedures and interpersonal communication skills required for them. The course will enable students to receive initial exposure to healthcare science skills; attitudes applicable to healthcare including the concepts of health, wellness, and preventative care; and responsibilities of today’s healthcare provider. This high-impact course also introduces students to the concepts of teamwork and leadership in healthcare.
Communications Pathway/Connections - This course will provide student with foundations skills in audio, video film and technology. It may include, but are not limited to: history of mass media, terminology, safety, basic equipment, script writing, storyboarding, production teams, planning, writing, directing, recording and editing a production, graphic communications, and professional ethics.
