The admins of an academy as well as the Training Managers can send announcements to all members, to individuals or to specific groups. To do this, go to the Administration Panel and under the Members tab, select Send Announcements. 2. Course Announcements
Curriculum announcements are very similar to the course announcements. You can send announcements about a curriculum to all its students, only to those who have completed it or only to those who haven’t. To do this, hover over Training, click Curricula, find the Curriculum in question and click on the Manage Curriculum option.
As soon as you have created an announcement, Canvas takes care of notifying students according to their preferred notification settings. In Canvas, you have the option of feeding posts from your blog or other information sources directly into your Announcements page using RSS.
