How do I remove an old Blackboard course from my list? Only instructors can hide courses. Students cannot remove or hide a course from their course list. Respondus Monitors accesses the computer's webcam and microphone to record the exam environment while recording the computer screen.
In proctored exams, Blackboard or Canvas can detect switching of tabs through the use of a proctoring software known as respondus monitor. If you try to switch tabs, the browser will consider this as a suspicious attempt to access answers from the web and flag you.
Blackboard can also detect cheating during online tests by recording video and audio of the candidate through the test taker's webcam and microphone. In such a case, the instructors monitor real-time activities, sounds, and voices of the candidates while they are taking online tests through Blackboard.
If you wish to update the content of a concluded course for use in the future, but you do not have a current term course in which to do that, you may wish to request a Sandbox course to copy into and work with, since you cannot edit a concluded course directly.
