The Obstacle Course contains a variety of obstacles that test multiple skills while trying to achieve the fastest time possible. You must jump, slide, dodge pillars, wall-run, wall-jump, calculate your landing by jumping from pillar to pillar, react to falling platforms, and dodge lasers.
Those wishing to upgrade had to fully deconstruct their entire Dojo, down to the initial Clan Hall. Once this was completed, the Clan's Warlord could initiate the upgrade from the Hall's control console. Those who did not upgrade were able to keep the original tileset.
If all you want is lab access then post your in-game name and I'll send you an invite. I run a clan that accepts Tenno who just want the lab blueprints. Invite sent. Check your inventory and you should find a blueprint for a Clan Key - you'll need to craft that to get into the Dojo.
The Oracle room is required before you can build many of the labs and upper-level rooms in the Clan Dojo. When the Oracle is complete, be sure to construct a T-Shaped Hallway at the end of the last two Cross-shaped Hallways that you constructed. This will give you a final bit of room to expand and build up a few labs.
