These two semester-long courses are designed to enable all students at the high-school level to develop a deep understanding of the math objectives covered and leave them ready for their next steps in mathematics. The courses are built to the Common Core State Standards.
Math 1 students study linear, exponential, and quadratic functions. They also learn to prove a figure is a specific type of a triangle or quadrilateral through the understanding of parallel and perpendicular lines, midpoint and distance .
Overview: The 9th grade math program integrates Algebra, Geometry, Statistics and Probability, Logical Reasoning, Measurement, and Discrete mathematics.
The Common Core State Standards lay out two pathways for teaching math in high school—the traditional Algebra 1-geometry-Algebra 2 sequence and an integrated sequence. The integrated math sequence blends the topic of algebra, geometry, probability, and statistics.Nov 10, 2014
Traditionally, high school mathematics in the United States has been taught in the sequence of Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2. Integrated mathematics re-imagines these courses as Math 1, Math 2, and Math 3, where algebraic, geometric, and statistical thinking are embedded throughout all three courses.Oct 19, 2018
Algebra 1 or elementary algebra is the first math class you are required to take as part of your middle school. We study real numbers, exploring solving, writing, and graphing linear equations in this part of Algebra.
Integrated 2 is the second year of a three year high school mathematics sequence. The program is designed to use patterns, modeling and conjectures to build student understanding and competency in mathematics.
Integrated Math reaches more students The bottom line for integrated math comes down to student growth in mathematics. Research has shown, students in an integrated math curriculum performed as well or better than students in a traditional course of study.May 31, 2016
High School teaches Integrated Math 1 in 9th Grade but many advanced learners can take Integrated Math 1 in 8th Grade.
That sequence is typically simply called Math I, Math II and Math III. Each course includes algebra, geometry, probability and statistics that are “integrated” with each other.Oct 27, 2015

All five review sets contain a student booklet with math problems for daily independent work, answer keys, and exam booklets (with answer keys).
Each math course in secondary school covers topics in algebra, geometry, trigonometry and analysis. Nearly all countries throughout the world, except the United States, follow this type of curriculum. In the United States, topics are usually integrated throughout elementary school up to the eighth grade.
