A B+ letter grade is equivalent to a 3.3 GPA, or Grade Point Average, on a 4.0 GPA scale, and a percentage grade of 87–89.
A+ (90% and above): Outstanding work that demonstrates independent thought and critical reflection and has an excellent research question as well as systematic and persuasive answers to this question.
A 3.6 GPA (Grade Point Average) corresponds to a B+ letter grade on a 4.0 scale. A 3.6 GPA equates to 87-89 percent. The national average GPA is 3.0, which is 3.6 points higher than the national average. A 3.6 GPA is difficult to improve because it is already pretty good, but it is doable if you work hard.

B+ is equivalent to 87% to 89%. It's also equivalent to a 3.3 GPA. Because it indicates good performance, B+ students have good chances of gaining admission into a number of good colleges and universities.
Don't kid yourself: C is a bad grade, and D is even worse. Most students in college are getting A's and B's (at many schools the average grade-point average is between B and B+). So if your quizzes and tests are coming back with C's and D's, be aware that you are learning virtually nothing in the courses you're taking.

A - is the highest grade you can receive on an assignment, and it's between 90% and 100% B - is still a pretty good grade! This is an above-average score, between 80% and 89%
An A- is within the range of a 90 to a 92.5. Most teachers will be nice enough to round your 92.5 or above to a 93, which would give you the complete A. Many students complain about this system and the way it works considering an A- is a 3.7 to your GPA, while an A is a full 4.0.
