Participants will practice creating materials within groups and courses (assignments, discussions, assessments, etc.) In module 3, participants will learn about the different communication that can occur within Schoology: teacher to teacher, teacher to student, and teacher to parent.

Courses are not archived until a 24 to 30-hour grace period has passed after the end date. No course content or enrollments will be lost during the archival process. Depending on the settings in place at your school or organization, archived courses may not be visible to instructors and students.
Use an Access Code Each course has a 13-digit Access Code (in a green box) located near the bottom of the left menu of the course profile, as well as on the right side of the Members page. Distribute the Access Code to students to allow them to register for Schoology on their own.
How to Download Files from SchoologyNavigate to the file you wish to download (Common Places are Materials, Assignments, Discussions)Click on the Name of the Document you wish to download. (+)Choose Save File.Click Ok. (+)Locate the file in your Downloads folder.
Click the student's name to go to their profile page. The course list is displayed on the right panel. Click See All next to Courses for a complete list. Click the course title to navigate to that course.
Click Courses at the top of Schoology. Click My Courses in the top right corner of the drop-down menu. Click Add Section next to the desired course. Click Create.
A Sandbox course is a space created for an individual instructor to experiment with Quercus. Initially, Sandbox courses have no content added to them and only the one instructor added. Instructors are encouraged to experiment with the new functionality offered and add colleagues and support individuals as needed.
Navigate to the Materials page of the course you'd like to save to Resources. Click Options at the top. Select Save Course to Resources from the drop-down menu. Select the Resource Collection in which you'd like to house your course content.
