Withdrawing From Classes Partial or complete withdrawals require the student to drop each course via the online system at mywsu.wichita.edu. Any refunds owed to you will be used to offset any financial obligations you may have at the university.
“A withdrawal will be on the transcripts but does not affect GPA.” Croskey also noted that there aren't any limits to how many classes one can drop because they don't go on the transcript. Withdrawals though are limited and can look bad if there are too many on a student's transcript.
Option #1 – Withdraw from the class. Withdrawal usually means the course remains on the transcript with a “W” as a grade. It does not affect the student's GPA (grade point average). Although students may be reluctant to have a “W” on their transcript, sometimes “W” stands for Wisdom.

Depending on your college, the drop deadline may be before the second week of online classes begins. Review your calendar to see how long you have been in the class. Complete the drop form if you meet the drop requirement, or contact your counselor about the drop requirement.

Student withdraws/drops all of the scheduled courses during a term following the withdrawal procedures as defined in the Walters State Community College Catalog/Student Handbook.
Student ceases attendance in all registered courses for a period of enrollment and fails to follow the proper withdrawal procedures as defined in the Walters State Community College Catalog/Student Handbook.
Students that fail to attend a course that they are scheduled to begin are not entitled to the funds that are originally posted to the student account.
