Courses may not be visible in Moodle until after the course has started. I created a new course in an existing category. I enrolled users. It is marked as visible, with a course start date of yesterday. It is not showing up for any of the users I enrolled. If I click on "Participants" in the Navigation block, it shows no participants, but when I click on "enrolled users", everyone is listed.

I am having the same problem today. The intructor complained the course isn't showing on his list of courses (but he is also an admin so he can search and find it), and a student complained she could see the class before but now cannot. All enrollees show in users but not in participants and cannot see the course. Any additional thoughts?
My experience is that sometimes it can take some time to show up. If you make course settings changes or enrollment method changes, it might not show up immediately, it may take to the next sync period.

Progress can be tracked in a number of ways. Students can be enrolled manually by the teacher, automatically by the administrator, or they can be allowed to enrol themselves.
