This is a good selection of ending games to move through and check that you can complete them, and know WHY they work as they do (i.e movement of the pieces, things like tempo etc) - it is a shame though that the printed positions are difficult to read, and in a few the board is actually the wrong one for the example in the text (it should be noted each problem does have the position of each of the pieces stated in the text, so it is still useable.).

I bought this book about 15 years ago when I was making my post high school attempt at being a good chess player. I don't remember how far I actually got in this book, or if I ever even read it. This book contains 239 endgame problems. The format is 1 diagram and explanation per page with a few exceptions for longer solutions.
