To secure your space in a Montclair State residence hall, the following steps are required for your housing application to be considered complete: 1) Submit the online, non-refundable New Student Deposit by May 1, 2017. 2) Submit the $300 non-refundable Housing Deposit by May 1, 2017.
A minimum 2.0 overall GPA and a minimum 2.0 major GPA is also required. Some majors have minimum GPA requirements higher than a 2.0. Specific requirements depend on date of entry or date of major declaration and vary from major to major.
A minimum of 30 credits of graduate credit is required for all master’s degree programs. A minimum of 60 credits is required for all doctoral programs. Additional credits may be required to satisfy prerequisites or special programmatic purposes.
