To upload a banner to your Canvas course:
If your institution allows, you can upload an image to display behind the course card in the Canvas Dashboard. Accepted images include JPG, JPEG, GIF, and PNG files.
In the Create/Edit Content panel, click Choose a Banner Image. Click the image that you want to add or replace. On the page, click Save.
