To withdraw a Student from a course, his or her enrollment status in the course must be changed. This can be done for individual courses or in bulk for all courses. To entirely withdraw a Student from Pearson Connexus, his or her status must be changed to Inactive within the User Profile. The Student’s enrollment status in all courses must be changed first in order to successfully withdraw him or her from the program.
Important: Do no delete a Student to withdraw them from the program. If a Student is deleted, all enrollment and grade data are purged for the Student. The only time school/programs should delete a Student is if the user was created incorrectly and needs to be deleted before the Student enrolls in a course (s).

If a student has already joined the maximum number of Mastering courses allowed with a single purchase or access code (four courses that use the same textbook), he or she is not allowed to join a different course until one of the enrollments is disenrolled. This situation can happen if a student needs to switch to a different discussion section or lab.
You can change a student's status back to Enrolled at any time if you discover that the change to suspended or disenrolled was an error. Regardless of the current or previous status, all student work and scores are preserved.
