In the Navigation panel on the left of your Moodle site, click on "Participants". Find a student who has dropped. In the Status column, there will be an orange box that says "Dropped", and to the far right of their row will be an unenroll (trash) icon. I am using moodle 2.6. In my LMS, I have 2 courses and I need to unenroll a list of users from the first course. Is that possible by any bulk user action or something like that? Please help. Thanks in advance.

The default enrolment duration for manual enrolment can be set in Administration > Course administration > Users > Enrolment methods > Manual enrolment. It can be amended from the default value when enrolling users manually in Administration > Course administration > Users > Enrolled users .
Users who were previously manually enrolled may be unenrolled in bulk via Administration > Course administraton > Users > Enrolment methods then clicking on the 'Enrol' users icon.
When a user is unenrolled, their grade history is not deleted.
Suspended users are not longer able to access any of their courses on Moodle but their data is preserved, so it is possible for them to return to their course at a later time. This might be useful for example, for keeping safe the work of students who have left the establishment but whose data might be needed for inspection in future years.
Open your course, and select Participants in the left sidebar menu. (Don’t see the sidebar? Click the (Site navigation bars) in the top menu to display it.)
Use Auditor to give a participant permission to view course resources, participate in course activities, and receive grades.
The enrollment methods above work best when you are only enrolling a few people at a time. If you need to enroll many participants in a non-academic course, Moodle admin can help.
