Transfer students can be admitted to DePaul during any quarter (Fall, Winter, Spring or Summer), except applicants to the School of Music and The Theatre School, which only allow fall admission. Submit a completed application online. Your application requirements may differ depending on your age and number of credits completed.
While a Spring or Summer 2020 ‘P’ grades will be accepted for transfer to DePaul, there may be other reasons (teacher licensure, graduate school requirements, etc.) students may still want to receive a letter grade for a course. If you mail original documents to DePaul University, they can be returned to you if you specifically make the request in a cover letter at the time of submission. If you bring your original documents to the International Admission office, photocopies can be made and the original documents can be returned immediately during the visit.

DePaul wants to offer a head start to students like you this summer. Students who apply to transfer* to DePaul for Fall 2022 and are admitted by May 1st may be eligible to take up to four credit hours online at DePaul this summer for free.
