Students must maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0. An undergraduate student is subject to academic probation if at any time the cumulative grade point average or Dominguez Hills grade point average falls below 2.0.

LIMITS ON REPEATS AND CANCELS than 16 units over the course of their undergraduate studies at CSUDH. Students can repeat an individual course no more than two times. semester do not count toward the 16-unit limit.
Once a student's degree is conferred and posted to their transcript an email is sent to the student's CSUDH email account and a diploma is requested. Diplomas requested after April 1, 2013 are mailed directly to the student's address. Students may update this address by accessing their my.csudh.edu account.
Withdrawal UnauthorizedWithdrawal Unauthorized (WU). The symbol "WU" shall be used when a student, who was enrolled on the census date, did not withdraw from the course and also failed to complete course requirements.
2.0 or higherA student shall be removed from academic probation when their overall GPA and CSUDH GPA are at 2.0 or higher.
Step 1: Your CSUDH GPA is calculated by adding up all the grade points you have earned, and dividing by the total amount of credit hours earned.
If you have been dismissed from a major, a program, or a college, it means you have not met their academic requirements. This could be because of a semester GPA, a culumative GPA, the grade in a required course, or other reasons as outlined by your major, program, or college.
