Linking sections enables you to manage your materials in one place. When you click Add Materials after linking your sections, the items you add to your course are added across all of the sections.
Grade Setup does not change at all once your sections are linked. This screen looks the same as it would if you did not link your sections, and all of the items you create here - grading categories, grad scales, rubrics, and the settings you apply to your gradebook - will apply to all of the sections within this course.
The other tab on the home page (which might be your default) is the Course Dashboard. This is where you can navigate to your active courses, which for most teachers and students, is automatically populated based on your courses in the Student Information System (or SIS).
Resources. The Resources area is a centralized place where all of your instructional and shared Group materials are kept. It is a place where you can manage all your files, assignments, assessments, learning outcomes, and badges. Best of all, it has unlimited storage.
Create the materials in one of your courses. You can copy single resources or entire folders of resources. In this example, we'll copy a link from one course to another.
After you click copy, you'll find the material in your other courses. You may then wish to modify due dates and other details in each course. Note: The materials are not linked, any will not update when you change one.
