Hi Philip, Has the user self registered and self enrolled (two different process)? Can the user go to the Site home and see the course? Can he/she enrol there? Or is there a message the user can't enrol? The self enrolment courses only show up on the Course overview block (and in the nav bar under My courses) after a user has successfully enrolled in it.

Yes, I think we could do that, but was trying to avoid that as when that is set, it changes the side navigation which is not ideal.

The behaviour you describe for the Course Overview block is new to me: AFAIK, this block only displays those courses a user has enrolled in. You may have set up the site home page ( https://moodle.yoururl.xyz/?redirect=0) to use the List all courses component instead.

Just to jump in here since I was coming to ask the same question... Philip's issue is exactly the same as what I'm running into. In our case, we're using Moodle in a nonprofit environment for training for employees/volunteers as well as outside constituents. I'd really like to be able to offer a "catalog" of courses that users can browse.

It's easy to get to the dashboard since it's part of the user menu. It's not as easy however to get to the Moodle Front page. I'd suggest letting users go for their dashboards using the user menu and have front page as the default landing page.
