May 11, 2020 · To make a D2L course inactive: Click on Resource in the navigation bar. In the menu that opens, click Course Admin. Follow the Course Offering Information link. Uncheck the box next to Course is active. Click the Save button. Do not uncheck Course has start date or Course has end date. See also:
Dec 14, 2020 · Click on the Course Offering Information link OR; To change the course availability, scroll down to the section marked “Active” In Brightspace Active = Available in Blackboard. To make the course unavailable uncheck the active checkbox. To change the dates the students can access the course, scroll down to the start and end dates.
Click on the downward arrow next to your content’s title. Select Edit Properties in Place. Set the Start Date and End Date for content availability. You can also set Release Conditions here. Note: A due date is not necessary for content items, but can be used in other areas of Brightspace.
Delete course offeringsFrom the Admin Tools menu, click Course Management.To find the course offering you want to delete, in the Offerings tab, enter a course name in the Search For field.Select the check boxes beside the course offerings you want deleted.Click Delete Selected.
Changing Your Course's Availability Log into Brightspace and select the desired course. In the NavBar, click Course Admin. Under Site Setup, click Course Offering Information. Click the Start Date and End Date boxes, and adjust the dates for the course, then Save.

Open the context menu of the topic or module you want to hide. Select Hide from Users.
Login to Brightspace and go into the appropriate course. When in the course, take these steps: select the "Course Admin" link in the upper right-hand corner of the course nav bar.
