New window (default) - The web page will open in a new tab or window with browser menu and address bar. Open (recommended) - The web page opens in the same window. If a description is included and Display description on course page is checked, the web page opens in the same browser window.
Students and instructors can create a link within text (hyperlink) anywhere the HTML Editor appears in Moodle. For example, students can create links in forum posts, and instructors can add links to Labels, Pages, Activity descriptions, etc...

Once you have your Moodle site installed, you can begin creating courses for your students. To add a course to Moodle, you must have an Administrator, Course Creator, or Manager account. Standard Teacher accounts do not have the necessary permissions to create or remove courses.
Note: Teachers do not have permission to delete courses. Administrators and Managers can delete courses, and course creators can delete courses they have created themselves up to 24 hours after creation.
