Through the Remove from class feature, a teacher is essentially removing the student from the class but still retaining the coach/student link. This way a teacher is able to still see the student on their Students Page and if they wish to add them to another one of their classes, they can do so easily.

Looks like Khan has agreed to keep it until October this year. So we still have hope you guys. Also AAMC says they will keep the videos in the official MCAT prep hub, it’ll be free for this current cycle, and then a part of the bundle paid package after this cycle.
You can still access the retired courses on the Khan Academy website, at least some of them. You just have to type in the search bar. I did this for the NASA content yesterday and found all their Mars exploration videos still there. Here is a list of their retired courses:
