To get the bol, download szs tools, put the files in your designated spot and then copy the rarcdump.exe to the files containing the Double Dash arc files and then grab a .arc file (E.G. Award.arc) and drag it to rarcdump and it will extract the contents.

The Boo Pipes is King Boo's signature kart in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!. It is a gray variant of Petey Piranha's Piranha Pipes, and can be unlocked by completing the Special Cup in Mirror Mode.
It is written in C# and uses OpenTK for rendering. Big shoutout to StapleButter for the BMD rendering code, and miluaces for his few patches that I will be using.
The MKDD modding page is now on the front page because after a long time, a single thing got posted! (And a really cool thing, to say the least.) Good job!
Currently DouBOL Dash can read, render, and save everything except for the last 2 sections, which don't crash the game if removed. The editor just defaults their offsets to the filesize (which is what retail does), so it avoids a crash.
When a kart hits the banana, the banana will split into three regular bananas in a triangle formation. This item can be thrown forward and backward.
A big Chain Chomp (which appears in some courses too!) wrecks havoc on the course, pulling the kart behind them. After a couple of seconds the Chain Chomp will go off on its own in a straight line.
Karts. Every character and kart in Double Dash are divided into three weight classes: Light, Medium and Heavy. Depending on the combination of characters used, you will be able to select from a variety of karts depending on the same weight class.
Stealing Items: You can steal the items from other racers three ways. The first would be to hit a kart while you are in the middle of a turbo boost from a Mushroom . The second is if you run into a kart while using a Star, and the third is if you use a Slide-Attack on another kart.
Turbo Start: At the start of a race, press the A button for a turbo boost right off the bat. It's easier to look at Lakitu's hand instead of the signal. As soon as his hand goes down for the third time, press the A button and you should be able to get it easily.
The Red Shell differs from the Green Shell because it actually homes in on the closest driver in front of you. There are limitations to its homing capabilities though. If it overshoots the intended target it will stop homing, and it's destroyed if it bumps into too many walls. It also does not home if you throw it backwards, but it can still be used to destroy other shells and bananas.
Powerslides: To perform a powerslide, simply press the L or R trigger while turning in either direction.
Mario Kart: Double Dash!! is the first Mario Kart game in the series to employ 3D graphics for characters and items , as opposed to Mario Kart 64 using pre-rendered sprites to display these objects. The game also introduces a larger variety of karts to select from depending on the character combo's weight class rather than the standard go-kart being the sole vehicle all racers use, and this variety of vehicles has been retained in all the Mario Kart games since.
A Rocket Start is a speed boost given to a kart when a race starts out. To perform, racers just have to press the button to accelerate right when Lakitu's lights turn green or by tapping the button repeatedly while Lakitu counts down.
Drifting prevents racers from losing speed in turns or from going off the course. By keeping the controller's (or ) button pressed, and tilting the stick to either side, racers make the kart begin a turn. While drifting, racers can gain a momentary speed boost by tilting the control stick to either side, opposite to a corner's direction. The kart then starts to produce sparks on its wheels. Doing this two times more, racers make the sparks become orange, then blue. Then, a mini turbo can be released right after the racer lets go of the (or ) button.
Versus (for two to four players) allows racers to select their characters and karts, and compete among themselves on the tracks. It's also possible to play in versus mode through a LAN connection where more than four players can join a competition. Additionally, there are some versus options found in the Option menu to change the mode's gameplay:
When breaking Item Boxes, characters can receive any standard item or a Special Item, a new type of item unique to a specific pair of characters. Additionally, items dropped on the course, including Bananas, Shells, Mushrooms, and Stars, instantly affect the first kart that touches it. The effects of certain items have changed considerably as well.
Just as the characters are classified according to their weights, karts are split into three groups in size with some general characteristics:
Upon running over a single Item Box or Double Item Box, the characters receive a power-up.
