Linear algebra is usually taken by sophomore math majors after they finish their calculus classes, but you don't need a lot of calculus in order to do it.
You do not really need any calculus to begin studying linear algebra. You do need to understand functions and high-school level algebra to start learning linear algebra.
If you watch each lecture's video twice (or alternatively dedicate on average two hours per chapter to read the text and examples in the book) and further dedicate 3 hours per lecture solving the relevant excercises, it should take approximately 5 x 24 = 120 hrs to deeply understand the material.

Some context: I’m currently learning Calculus I in high school. Every single concept I brushed off in the past came right back to bite me. I’ve only recently realised the importance of math, and I regret not putting effort into it sooner.
Everytime a question about getting into the computer programming field pops up, the question that is inevitably asked is do you have to learn math? i mean why should that ever be an obstacle?
