Restarting a course will effectively wipe all learning history in that course. This means if you ever want to learn that course again, you will have to start from scratch.
Currently you can only reset your progress in a level or a course via the Memrise website (you cannot do this within the app).
Quitting a course will not erase your learning history, you can always go back to the course and continue learning where you left off. Quitting only means it will be taken off your course list in the dashboard.
How can I create a course / make a learning list? To create your own course, log in on web, click the Courses tab at the top of your homepage and select Create a course. Please note: you cannot create a course from the app at the moment, but you can start learning any course you have created on the website, and it will sync with the app. 1.
In the case of a personal list, it is still important to choose the correct category for your course because if there is a central database for that category, then your course will automatically be set up to draw items from it.
I’ve been consistently studying Korean for 2 years now and I still feel like I’m hardly any better than beginners. I’ve memorised about 2500 words and all the grammar in the first two Korean made simple text books/ TTMIK up to level 6. When I want to say something in Korean my mind goes blank and I can only remember very simple sentences.
Someone ask yesterday for a list of Instagram accounts for learning Korean, so I extracted the list of accounts I am currently following:
I am sure that some of you are wondering about how to use Korean noun modifiers as my students.
I tried this in French sub, and learned a lot of new information about the language. So I want to try it here, too.
Today I would like to introduce three simple ways to say that one did, or is doing B, out of fear that A will happen.
I found a blog post that contains a few gifs and simple sentences that describe the action they're doing. It's a post where the guy reviews a vr game:
To upload audio files, go to the 'Edit' page for your course, click 'Databases' and then select the database that you wish to add audio to. Please note: if your course only has one level, you'll have to add a new level to reveal the Databases tab. Alternatively, click on the 'Advanced' button at the right of the screen and click on 'Add column'.
If you choose to test from audio on a level, then Memrise will choose randomly one of the files to play in the test. You can create your own audio by clicking on 'Record'.
If there were no matches in the dictionaries, you can double click on the definition field and add your own definition.
Again, if there are matches in the central dictionaries then those items will be added, but if there are any differences between your items and the ones in the central dictionary, then it will just add the word and definition as you have pasted them in. So if you want to be certain that Memrise will pull any existing items from the central dictionary, it would be best to just paste in the first column of the spreadsheet.
Please also note that identical entries in the same column confuse our system, which results in duplicate multiple-choice tiles. We recommend adding columns that are not being tested on/prompted with as attributes rather than columns.
Note: Information cannot be added to attribute columns or to audio columns using this tool. The tool will stop adding to a particular row when it meets an attribute or audio column, and all columns thereafter will fail.
Works well, you might want to detect whether to use http or https to prevent console errors.
Sadly this script doesn't work for me : ( Is there any possibility to get it fix or tell me what I maybe did wrong?
libs-a63ec21310.js:15 Mixed Content: The page at ' https://www.memrise.com/course/183314/3000-leggyakoribb-angol-szo-audio/ ' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure resource ' http://www.memrise.com/ajax/session/?course_id=183314&level_index=1&session_slug=preview '. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.
Could someone help me fix this? I'd already logged in to memrise and change the url to https.
The following updated version works at the moment, but if the folks at Memrise change the output data format, then it might stop working again ...
Thank you very much for this! The updated code worked like a charm. I had created a course with vocabulary for my class, but was unable to download my own course. I had also filled in the plural and inflected form columns
I'm getting "SyntaxError: unexpected token: identifier" when I try to use the script.
