The Dual Enrollment courses outlined in this section are recommended courses for first semester choices at Moorpark College, and courses offered at the High Schools. This courses are only open to high school students within each district.
It will be a combination of six lowercase letters and/or numbers. If you are already logged in to Achieve, you can see the course ID on the course list page in the Course ID column. When you click on a course to open it, the page that you land on will have a URL that features your course ID.
An Achieve access code is similar to a course ID in that it is also a series of letters and numbers that allow a student to register for an Achieve course. The main difference is that an access code grants a student access to a course, rather than simply identifying the course in our system.

An ID card can be purchased during fall semester registration for the entire academic year at $10 or the semester rate of $6. Currently, registered students can purchase a Ventura College ID online via their MyVCCCD portal.

If you audit a class, you take it for no credit, and do not have to do the assignments or take tests. You still attend the class, learn from lectures, and have access to textbooks, the instructor and learning materials. You will also be asked to pay for the course as if you were taking it for credit.
Withdrawal from a class or from the college is primarily the responsibility of the student. Withdrawals may be done online or in person at the Admissions & Records Office with photo ID.

The Registration Calendar lists the registration dates for each student type for each term. Students view their assigned registration appointment date that starts their enrollment period for the term in their My.VCCCD portal .
Fees are due at the time of registration and must be paid promptly to finalize your registration and prevent holds being placed on your records and future registration privileges.
Students may have the option of placing themselves on a waitlist for closed classes. If a seat opens up, waitlisted students will automatically be registered in the class in order of their priority on the waitlist.
A waitlist allows the student to wait for an open seat in a full class. Being on a waitlist does not guarantee enrollment in the class. If an enrolled student drops, the open seat may be filled by the next student on the waitlist in priority order. Payment within 24 hours is required to complete enrollment in the class.
If you accidentally drop your classes you need to work with your instructor to get back into the course.
In Progress Grade Request. Registration is normally prohibited where a course is currently in-progress. This record allows intervention to permit the registration. Request of instructors the grade (s) to date in an effort to re-enroll the same course for the following terms.
In accordance with the section (c) of this statute, no student auditing a course shall be permitted to change his or her enrollment in that course to receive credit for the course. Students auditing a course are not permitted to take exams in class, nor are they permitted to challenge the course at a later date.
Each course in Achieve has a unique URL that features its course ID. This is called the course URL, and it has a format of https://achieve.macmillanlearning.com/courses/xxxxxx (where xxxxxx is the course ID). When viewing the course, this URL will be visible in the browser's address bar.
Students enrolling in a course can either go to the course URL directly to start enrolling or go to https://achieve.macmillanlearning.com and type the six character course ID into the Course ID field during enrollment.
