Educator access code. An Educator access code is required to register and create a personal Educator user account. Each code is valid for only one Educator registration, though you can use the account for several years to create multiple courses.
The student must register with the complimentary access code and sign in at least once. The student should not join (enroll in) your course.
Each student access code can be used only once. A student should never use a complimentary access code to enroll for credit. Complimentary access codes remain the property of the publisher, may not be resold, and may be canceled at any time.
Request access codes. You can request both kinds of access codes from your Pearson sales representative. Or, for Educator access codes only, you also have the option of requesting access online. For security reasons, you may be asked to provide confirmation that you are an instructor.
