Hybrid Classes

Instruction is delivered in a combination of Face-to-Face and Online delivery methods as defined above. Students will have assigned times and dates during which they will meet with the instructor in a traditional Face-to-Face classroom setting with the balance of the course being delivered in an online format.

ITV Classes

Instruction is delivered in an interactive television enabled classroom. Typically, there will be students and an instructor in a traditional Face-to-Face classroom setting with additional students at one or more remote locations “linked in” via interactive television.

Vernon College is open Monday –Thursday from 8am-6pm and Fridays from 8am-12pm beginning August – May. Summer Hours are Monday –Thursday 8:00am-5:30pm, and closed Fridays. Please note that Vernon College will be closed for various holidays and staff development days.

Once a course has begun Continuing Education cannot offer a refund. If a student does not meet the attendance policy for any reason and is dismissed from a program, a refund will not be available. If a student requests a refund at least one Vernon College business day prior to the start of class, a refund will be processed minus a $5.00 fee.
