Yoshi's Crafted World is a title in the Yoshi franchise, the sixth main platform game starring Yoshi, and the follow-up to the 2015 Wii U game Yoshi's Woolly World, released for the Nintendo Switch on March 29, 2019. It was developed by Good-Feel, the developer behind Yoshi's Woolly World and its Nintendo 3DS port Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World. The game places a great emphasis on its 3D environments; Yoshi is able to aim eggs into objects that appear in the foreground and background and can travel through a pseudo-3D environment along yellow tape trails.
On March 20, 2019, in celebration of the Yoshi's Crafted World 's launch at the time, Nintendo of UK announced a partnership with KidZania London to host an Easter egg hunt event titled Yoshi's Easter Egg Hunt, which lasted from April 8 to April 21, 2019.
Similar to the previous Yoshi games, Yoshi can run, jump, lick up enemies, Flutter Jump, Ground Pound, and throw Yoshi's Eggs / Poochy Pups. Conversely, Yoshi does not need to crouch anymore in order to turn an enemy into an egg, as this action is now performed automatically upon grabbing an enemy with the tongue. The mechanics of Yoshi's egg throwing have likewise changed considerably. Instead of an autonomously moving cursor, Yoshi can freely aim the cursor anywhere on the screen, so that they can aim at objects in the foreground and background. When an object on a different plane is highlighted, the player can throw an egg at it, but eggs are otherwise restricted to a 2D plane. Yoshi can often travel between planes by following paths that connect them. While on one of these paths, Yoshi can only ground pound with the L or ZL buttons, due to the down command being assigned to moving towards the player.
Unlike the previous game, the game adopts a hand-crafted art style, with every level being made to have a "theme of things crafted in kindergarten." The Yoshis in particular are made out of a material called "flocky". A variety of cardboard costumes are available to unlock within the game, including some based off Nintendo Labo. The game also features amiibo support, with certain amiibo granting the player exclusive themed costumes.
When selected, Yoshi grows a pair of wings that allow them to Flutter Jump infinitely by holding down the jump button. Yoshi also has the capacity to hold additional hearts, allowing them to take more hits.
Most costumes in the game can be obtained from capsule machines which appear in each world, though certain costumes can be obtained through amiibo use, and three more can be obtained by completing certain late-game objectives. A total of 185 costumes in the game, with 173 being obtainable without amiibo use.
These can be obtained by hitting certain Winged Clouds, reaching Checkpoint Bells, or hitting Roulette Blocks at the right time.

Why do you never use your signature? Instead of inputting those images and putting in your username, use your sig instead, as it saves you time and saves space on talk pages.-- UM3000
Actually, the heads that I uploaded were textures dumped from the game using Dolphin. Mariomario64! http://dolphin-emulator.com/ 13:13, 16 June 2011 (EDT)

You should always remove the game screenshot template when your putting on a game sprite template.-- UM3000
At a level's loading screen, hold D-pad Down and press B + A to enable CRT mode without the Mario 30th Anniversary Edition Amiibo. Repeat the code to disable its effect.
Note: This requires v1.40 or later. Successfully complete Expert mode in 100 Mario Challenge to unlock the Super Expert difficulty.
Kart Mario: Super Mario Kart jingles when transforming, completing, or dying in a level; glider when jumping.
Successfully complete all four Nintendo World Championships 2015 levels. The Weird Mushroom will now appear in Course Maker when a Super Mushroom is shaken. It can only be used on Super Mario Bros. levels.
Mystery Mushrooms can change Mario's appearance. If Mario takes any damage, he will lose the costume. Costumes have the following effects:
Let’s be clear here. Even though these Yoshi spinoffs have been primarily about Yoshi and his kin saving baby versions of popular characters, like Mario, they are also baby-like in nature. What I mean to say is that they sound like babies. This can be adorable and perhaps the exact noises kids want to here from their TV, but to an adult, especially one averse to children, well, it can grate on the ears. What exactly are they saying when they ground-stomp by the way? Pudding, ha?
As a busy adult, life is just one event after the other. We, being one of them, are always on the go. That’s why I love the shortness of the levels. They are crafted, ha, for portability in mind. This is in case you want something meatier to play for a few minutes rather than something more mind-numbing on the phone; the levels are great for quick pickups. Plus the sleep functionality of the Switch is so good. This might be more of a sell for the system than the game itself now that I think about it.
Yoshi's Crafted World may be aimed at kids but there are still a few things that grown-ups can appreciate in this beautifully designed world.
The other option is normal. No matter what you choose, this game is going to be a breeze. It is designed for kids, or more like everyone in mind, as that is the rating. If you are looking for the next great Nintendo platformer that is going to test your skills, well, this isn’t it.
If you clear the final level in 10 Mario Challenge or 100 Mario Challenge, you'll meet up with Toad or the Princess. If you are dressed in certain costumes, you'll get individualized responses. Toad stresses out if you rescue him as Bowser, but Peach is merely bemused. Wear the Toad costume while rescuing Toad and you'll be greeted as "Captain."
To unlock the four Nintendo World Championships levels, complete the 10 Mario Challenge mode enough times until you've unlocked all the sample courses. Complete all four to unlock the Weird Mushroom item, which can be used in Course Maker by grabbing and shaking a Super Mushroom. It can only be used in Super Mario Bros. levels.
Make sure you've updated Super Mario Maker, then play Hard Mode of Gnat Attack. Upon completing all three levels you'll unlock the Fighter Fly Mystery Mushroom costume.
As of Version 1.40, Super Expert mode in 100 Mario Challenge can be unlocked by beating Expert mode.
Stars do not disappear from your profile if you delete a stage that has received one or more previously. Initially, before any medals are awarded, you are allowed to upload 10 stages.
As late as Super Mario World for the SNES, the development teams still would lay out the designs on paper and program them in manually; Super Mario Maker's development-team analogue is considered hundreds of times more effective, efficient, and powerful than the old system.
