Course copy from within a course.

Tools in the Toolbar Sometimes the pasted text does not appear as expected after using the Copy and Paste commands and saving changes. Fortunately, Moodle has added buttons to the toolbar to alleviate this problem.

In the Moodle course you will copy into, to import the item(s): Open the course you wish to import item(s) into. In the Administration block, under Course Administration click Import. The Find a course to import data from page will open. The Find a course page can display up to ten courses available for you to copy.

Re: Move student from one course to another. Well if there are only two I suppose the easiest way is just to do it manually - in course settings >assign roles - take them out of the one course and then in the new course >course settings>assign roles just add them in.
