To copy a test from one Blackboard course to a different course, open the course that contains the test you need to copy. You can copy all the content or select individual items from the other courses you teach. On the Course Content page, select the plus sign to open the menu and select Copy Content. Or, open the menu on the right side above the content list. Select Copy Content.

To do this: Click the content area where you want the test (or survey). Click Assessments in the top menu. Click Test. (or Survey) Select the test (or Survey) from the list. Click submit. Choose your Test Options and Click Submit.
If you have a test or survey that you used in a previous semester’s course or that you want to include in multiple sections in the same semester, you only need to create the test or survey once and you can copy it into a different course. Copying tests and suveys is not the same as copying items in the course.
When you copy, the course availability of the source course is applied to the destination course. If the destination course's availability is set to unavailable, but the original course is available, the destination course's availability is changed.
When you copy a course without enrollments into a new course, the delegated setting is brought over as enabled for all existing delegated grading assignments. The instructor who copies the course is set to grade all submissions and reconcile grades.
Copy Links to Course Files: No copies of linked files are included in the copy. The copied course will have the same set of links. Those links will point back to the original location of the link defined in the origin course.
The course ID can't include spaces or characters other than numbers and letters (A-Z), dash (-), underscore (_), and period (.). The course ID must be unique and remain static. After you create the copied course , you can't edit the course ID.
You can only copy materials into a course if you have the role of instructor, teaching assistant (TA), or course builder. Copy Course with Users (Exact Copy): Copy user records, such as grades and discussion posts, to the new course. Everything in the course is copied to the new course exactly as it appears in the existing course.
A course copy operation can't be completed if you don't select at least one of these areas: Content, Contacts, or Settings. If you don't select one, a warning appears and Blackboard Learn can't create a new course.
Attendance data isn't included when you copy a course into a new or existing course. The attendance option is removed from the copy options.
4d. Note that if you copy Settings, and the source course is Available, the new course will be set to Available. If you choose Settings and you want the new course to remain unavailable, be sure to switch it back off after the copy is complete (Main tab – click on the green “O” next to the course).
The copy or import processes do not impact the availability of reserves items at the library or the display of library resources on the Course Reserves list in the library catalog. You will need to contact rclreserves@library.rochester.edu in order to reactivate physical reserves lists and make them available in the library.
Blackboard will confirm your request and send you an email when the export file is complete.
