Or, plain Import should also work. I believe that will automatically do the backup/restore without going through all the individual steps.

How about moving all the questions in the category used for the quiz under the parent category Default for System, then creating the quiz with all the questions in the published category ?

Michael - a word about the Sharing Cart and quizzes - it can work but if there are images in the questions and/or the answers be sure to go into the copy of the quiz and check the links and make sure the images have been maintained.

I'm trying to copy a quiz from one course page to another. I was going to back-up the entire course page and just select the quiz to restore into the new course. Just wondering if this is the best way to do it or whether there another way to copy the quiz over?

Use the import feature from the course you want to copy it into. Then just select the quiz you want to copy.

Or you can click on the course in which you'd like the resource, click Import and then select only that item from the other course. To delete a quiz turn editing on and click on the X next to your quiz.
