From your course home page, click the settings tab at the bottom of the course menu. Once in settings, there will be options for both deleting or ending the course on the menu on the right side of the page. Click whichever one to end or delete your course.
In the Global Navigation menu (on left), click Courses and then All Courses. To favorite a course or courses, click the empty star next to each course name to add it to the Courses menu. To hide a course, click the filled star next to each course name to remove it from the Courses menu.Jan 20, 2021

When a course is archived, it will no longer appear on your Canvas Dashboard or in your All Courses List. If you do not wish to have a particular course archived, you may temporarily delay this process with the new Course Archive Manager tool.Aug 20, 2019
Faculty FAQs: Concluding a Canvas Course This means the content will be in an archival state. You will maintain full read/edit access to the site and students will also have access to your course content for up to 5 years.
Concluding an enrollment allows the user to view a course in read-only mode. This means the user will be able to access the course but not be able to submit assignments, participate in discussions, or send/receive conversation messages in the course. The user's analytics will still be available.
In a concluded course, instructors and students can no longer participate in the course and the course is archived in a read-only state. Students may be restricted from viewing concluded courses. You also may be able to manually conclude an individual course enrollment.
Reactivate a User's Enrollment Click the Settings drop-down menu (gear icon) to the right of the inactivated user and select Reactivate Enrollment. Select Remove from Course NOTE: Removing a user from a Canvas course, removes their ability to see the course and the Instructor's ability to see their participation. If you wish to keep those records available but still remove the user's access, select "Deactivate User" instead.
Place Before or After. If you selected the Before or After option, click the second drop-down menu [1]. Select the navigation link that should be before or after the link you are moving, as indicated by the option selected in the previous menu [2].
A link may be hidden to students because the feature area has no content [2] or because the link is disabled [3].
In Global Navigation, click the Courses link [1], then click the All Courses link [2].
To favorite a course, click the star next to a course [1]. Courses with filled stars show the course is a favorite [2].
If a course is unpublished and you are allowed to view unpublished courses before the course participation dates, you cannot favorite the course. If you hover over a star icon for an unpublished course, you can view a message indicating that the course cannot be added as a favorite.
