No "W"-- Withdrawal -- or record of the course will reflect on the student's permanent record if the student drops the course from the college by the published deadlines in the Schedule of Classes. A "W" notation -- Withdrawal -- will be assigned if the student drops the course between the 5th and 15th week of the regular semester (or 75% of ...
Evergreen courses have a reputation for having less student engagement, but an onboarding experience can easily prevent that. Step 3: Plan your consistent marketing strategy. Finally, once your course is “ready” for new customers, it’s time to start marketing it. This is the biggest way evergreen courses differ from live ones.
Option 1 - Set Up an Evergreen Product using Automations. Create your Product. In your Product, go to the Content tab and link to or create your Membership Site. Add all your content to the Membership Site and Course. Set any Course Modules and Lessons or Pages to Auto-Publish (unless you want them to have immediate access to a certain piece of ...
Students may add regular and late starting classes using MyWeb up to the first day of classes as long as space is available. After the first day of class students must have the permission of the instructor to add. Instructors will submit Block Add forms adding students to classes after space is determined.
Students may drop a class by using MyWeb or in person in the Admissions Office. Students are responsible for dropping courses by published deadlines. Failure to do so may result in non-passing grades or outstanding fees. The following rules apply to dropping a class:
An evergreen course is one where students can enroll at any time, instead of having “open and close” enrollment periods. Once they join, the course content can either be available in full immediately, or automatically dripped out based when a student joins, as opposed to you delivering it “live” through calls or emails.
Making your course evergreen can add stability to your schedule, as well as your income, while letting your customers feel more in control. It’s no wonder it’s what so many creators are craving right now.
Follow all the same steps above but instead of using general time parameters in your automation, you would use the specific time to the wait steps such as Wait til July 1, 2017.
This is a product in which they don't get the next Module until they have finished the first. See our Guide here.

As an instructional designer or educational content developer, there are a few simple things you can do to make sure that your content is as evergreen as possible: 1 Avoid or minimize references to specific textbook chapter names, chapter numbers, edition numbers, and page numbers. 2 When teaching a concept, aim to create the most canonical and universal narrative possible instead of continually referencing a textbook. Avoid phrases like, “As it says in your XYZ textbook, ….” 3 Use hypothetical but realistic examples instead of examples from current events. 4 Alternatively, use examples from past or historical events that are likely to be recognized as relevant and important for the foreseeable future. 5 Structure your online course materials to be as modular as possible to make it easy to selectively update specific portions that require updating while leaving the rest of the materials intact. 6 For file-based resources such as PDF articles, PowerPoint files, and Word documents, consider hosting copies of the files directly within your course’s Learning Management System, instead of relying on links to externally hosted files, to minimize the risk of broken links. 7 Similarly, consider linking to an archived version of online articles and web pages through the Internet Archive, again to minimize the risk of broken web links in your course. (See my previous article on how to link to archived web resources: Recovering Broken Web Links and Resources with Archive.org .)
Deadline Funnel is a really powerful tool that not just allows you to create a unique deadline for your visitors so that every visitor sees the same offer irrespective of when they sign up but it also allows you to add animated countdown timers to your campaigns.
The redirect page is the page to which the subscribers will be redirected once the deadline gets over. This is generally the sales page without any discount applied. If you are using ClickFunnels, what this would mean is creating two separate pages – a normal sales page and another sales page with discount applied.
Unlike traditional schedules, Evergreen programs create a balance between modes of learning. Programs can include lectures, labs, readings, seminars, field study and research projects. You’ll stay engaged as you build familiarity within the disciplines you study.
Example: The Earth Dynamics program at Evergreen asks how humans have changed local environments and large-scale global processes. It covers all the same subjects as a traditional education, but also explores in depth how they interconnect.
The answer is yes. That’s why we call them programs. At Evergreen you will usually take a full course load in a single 12 – 16-credit academic program that integrates different subjects. In this way, you’ll explore a central idea or theme that’s interesting to you.
