Most of your course content will display natively in the app. Content that isn't supported generally opens in the in-app web browser. Preview your content and assessments in Blackboard Instructor or obtain a student login to preview content in the Blackboard app for students.
Within the app, you can view the folders, documents, assessments, and other items you added in the web browser view of the course. You can preview items in the app to be sure they appear as you intend on mobile devices, but you must create items in Blackboard Learn on a web browser. You can change some settings for course items.

Once in a Blackboard course, choose a content area (such as Course Content) where you want to add the file.
Hover over the Build Content button, and choose Item or File, from the drop-down list.
In the Attachments area, click the Browse Content Collection button to search the Content Collection for the resource that you intend to link to.
Navigate to the file location by hovering your mouse over Browse and navigate to an area such as My Content or Shared Content.
Check the box next to the resource file you wish to link to, then click Submit.
Click the Submit button again to make the item available in your course.
Your course creation starts on the Course Content page. You'll find it's easy to discover features and complete actions.
Students select a file title to download it. Supported file types include DOC, DOCX, HTM, HTML, MP3, MPG, PDF, PPT, PPTX, XLS, XLSX, RTF, TXT, ZIP, and most image types.
You can create two levels of folders to organize your content. Students can navigate easier when they don't have to search for materials. Optionally, add folder descriptions to help students understand what content you've included in them.
Content Collection: Add files from your institution's shared repository. You can store and find content in personal, course, and institution folders in the Content Collection. If you stored files from other courses in the Content Collection, you'll be able to easily find and add them.
Content Market: Discover and add content and tools from external sources. Access valuable learning materials from Blackboard's partner publishers, such as Macmillan and Jones & Bartlett.
Add goals and standards. You and your institution can use goals to measure student achievement across programs and curriculums. After you successfully upload a file to your course, you can align one or multiple goals. Students won't be able to see the goals you align with a file.
After you already have two levels of folders, you can't create a third level or upload a folder into the second-level folder. Organize with learning modules. You can use learning modules in your course as containers for organized collections of content.
