Members can separate dues payments into monthly installments and auto-renew to ensure continuous membership.

30 creditsN.J.A.C. 13:39A-9.2(a) requires that every licensed physical therapist and physical therapist assistant complete 30 credits of continuing education which must include four credits of jurisprudence and professional ethics for each biennial renewal period.
You can complete courses in-person or online, in groups or by yourself. They just ask that no more than 75% of your total CEUs be from “self-study”: correspondence, web courses or pre-recorded webinars. However, if an online course includes live interaction with the instructor, it won't count as self-study.

To become a licensed PT in California, you must pass both the California Law and NPTE examinations. The California Law Exam is an hour-long multiple choice exam that covers the contents of the Physical Therapy Practice Act, Physical Therapy Regulations, and statutes outside the Physical Therapy Practice Act.

Participants are responsible to recruit their clinical mentor, who provides instruction and feedback until the PTA is able to perform interventions or behaviors independently, as indicated in provided assessment tool post-enrollment.

How long can sponsors offer a course after it is approved? A sponsor course may be approved for a 1 or 2 year approval period per sponsor request. An approval period may begin on any date as determined by the sponsor.

Courses offered under the Accredited Provider status cannot be co-sponsored with another organization unless specifically approved via a PRS course application for all co-sponsoring organizations OR the course is offered by multiple APS accredited providers and listed under all organizations' accredited provider statuses.
To renew your license as a Physical Therapist in Kentucky, you must complete 30 continuing education hours every two years by March 31st in odd-numbered years. Physical Therapist Assistants in Kentucky must take 20 continuing education hours every two years as well.
