I joined WGU as a part-time employee working in the evaluation department. From the moment I interviewed, I knew this was somewhere I would enjoy working. Every single person I've interacted with is nice and enthusiastic about helping our largely non-traditional student population. The management and leadership teams are super supportive.
This is a great place to work. Compensation could be better, but they make up for it with flexibility, great benefits, and wonderful management. I highly recommend it.
WGU is the best employer I ever had. It is the only place where I ever truly felt appreciated and I had never met my co-workers in person! Every now and then I would get little gifts that arrived just in time to boost my spirits like a sticker, gift card, polo shirt, etc.
The environment is positive and the work very flexible. The upper management is very supportive and positive. The pay for evaluators is extremely low.
