I had a classmate who took the AANP and said that the APEA course/questions helped her on the exam. You can even take the online questions on the APEA website (you have to pay for those).
Jan 25, 2015 · I attended Fitzgerald's live 3-day review course back in September, purchased the AANP practice exam, Apea Q bank (1 month subscription), purchased two predictor exams from APEA and reviewed Leiks FNP review book. Sep 08, 2021 · APEA course with Amelie Hollier. The Live review course was strongly recommended to me by one of my preceptors who had used it herself. I liked the idea of going to a live 3-day review with other students, like myself, to study and cram for the exam. However, due to COVID-19 the live review course was not being offered at the time.
Approximately 22 hours (FNP), 20 hours (AGNP) of audio content. This program is accredited for 32 contact hours (13.25 pharmacology) for FNP and 30.75 contact hours (15 pharmacology) for AGPCNP. A certificate will be awarded after all content has been accessed and the course evaluation has been completed.

The AANP is rumored to be the easier of the two exams, specifically for those seeking their FNP certification since it has a 5% higher pass rate than that of the ANCC FNP exam. Using the pass rate as a basis for difficulty then you can reasonably say that the AANP exam is easier than the ANCC.
