To complete the preregistration process: 1 Go to MyUW and log in with your UW NetID and password. 2 Before you can register, you must resolve any holds on your account. Holds appear in the Critical Notices section of your MyUW home page. Click each hold notice link to learn how to resolve your hold. 3 In the Registration section, click Complete Preregistration Requirements. 4 If this is your first time registering for the quarter, you must acknowledge understanding of a number of items (such as vaccines, voter registration, campus security and U-PASS) before you can register. Follow the prompts to complete each screen.

Survey data from UW students, backed by a resolution from ASUW, indicates that students strongly prefer using personal mobile devices or laptops rather than clickers for in-class audience response activities.
UW-IT partnered with UW faculty and technologists to evaluate several options and selected Poll Everywhere for a pilot.
UW-IT will continue to provide “best effort” support and troubleshooting for TurningPoint clickers and TurningPoint version 5.4 for faculty who choose to utilize that service. TurningPoint Cloud is not currently available at the University of Washington.

Poll Everywhere supports basic integration features such as importing students from Canvas into Poll Everywhere and exporting grades from Poll Everywhere to Canvas.

If you’re using a physical clicker, purchase your clicker from the University Bookstore. Inside the box is a small card that has your subscription code in red text.
If you’re using TurningPoint Mobile, the software that allows you to use a smartphone, tablet, or browser in place of your clicker, then you will need to purchase the license either from the University Bookstore as a scratch-off card or directly from the Turning Account page.

Currently enrolled undergraduate students or undergraduate students who are quarter-off eligible, should register according to the Course Add Periods listed below.
Graduating seniors or post-baccalaureate students with a degree application on file in the Graduation and Academic Records Office may register on the first day of Registration Period I for the final two quarters. Students who must postpone their graduation may save their priority quarters by not registering before their regular senior priority day.

This registration period is open for continuing students currently enrolled or for students who completed the previous quarter.
