The Course Management menu is located on the lower left menu bar on the Course Home Page. The course management menu provides instructors with tools to create, manage and modify the course. Files, Course Tools, Evaluation, Grade Center, Users and Groups, Customization, Packages and Utilities, and Help are available.
To limit enrollment to a specific time period, select the Start Date and End Date check boxes and enter the dates and times between which users can enroll in the course. To limit enrollment to users with an access code, select the Require an Access Code to Enroll check box. Provide the text to use for the access code.
To prohibit unauthenticated users from enrolling in the course, select No. Categories. Select Course Catalog Category. The category determines where the course description appears in the course catalog. Select a category to select it and select the right-pointing arrow to move it to the Selected Items list.
To define colors, open the menu for Background Color or Text Color . select a swatch to select a color or provide a Color Value in hexadecimal format (for example, 00FF00 for bright green). If you provide a hexadecimal code or select Skip, the swatch selection closes. Select Preview to view the color you provided.

You can create two levels of folders to organize your content. Students can navigate easier when they don't have to search for materials. Optionally, add folder descriptions to help students understand what content you've included in them.
You and your institution can use goals to measure student achievement across programs and curriculums. After you successfully upload a file to your course, you can align one or multiple goals. After you already have two levels of folders, you can't create a third level or upload a folder into the second-level folder. Organize with learning modules. You can use learning modules in your course as containers for organized collections of content.
You may choose multiple files from cloud storage to add to your Course Content page in one action. The files you add are copies. If you make a change to a file in cloud storage, you need to upload a new copy in your course. Content Collection: Add files from your institution's shared repository.
TAs will have access to Needs Grading and the grade center while graders can access Needs Grading, but not the grade center. Course Builders have access to everything that an Instructor can do except the Grade Center. Instructors that are co-listed on the Schedule of Classes will be automatically enrolled into the shell. Otherwise, instructors will need to manually add these users.
