After logging into Moodle via myapps.up.edu or directly at learning.up.edu, you will land on your Dashboard. Locate the block titled Course Overview.

Moodle allows you to hide courses that you no longer wish to view. To do so, choose the course which you wish to Hide and locate the “. . .” icon.

Step 3

Clicking the icon will reveal a menu. Click Hide from View. The class will immediately disappear from the Course Overview.

Step 4

If you discover later that you need to be able to view a hidden course, unhiding is simple. In the Course Overview block, Expand the filters and click Hidden.

Step 5

You will now see any courses that you have hidden. Locate the course you need to unhide and click the “. . . ” icon. From the menu that appears, select Show this Course. It will now appear in the applicable categories.

A student or parent must request the name of the technician and the ticket number and report them to the academic advisor. Computer problems are not valid reasons for seeking extended time on assignments or test due dates unless the student can provide evidence of having sought assistance from K12 Tech Support – Technician’s name and ticket number. If you are having connectivity issues with your Internet provider, contact the provider immediately. Again, seek the name of the customer service representative and make note of the intended action to be taken on the part of the provider. Make a note of the expected time line for a resolution. Is there a ticket number? If so, record this number and provide it to your academic advisor. In order to stay on target with assignment due dates, you are expected to seek alternative ways to access the Internet, such as a library or family member’s computer. The computer is your classroom and it needs to be available every school day.
