Valencia provides students the opportunity to take college-credit courses through several modes of instructional delivery including: online, real-time virtual, mixed-mode, and face-to-face.
Real Time Virtual - A course that requires students and instructors to meet online, in a virtual space, during designated days and times. Mixed Mode - A course that blends the delivery of instruction between online and face-to-face (some hours are spent in the classroom with the rest being completed online).

If you fail a class, you'll get a 0 on your transcript — and that can bring down your GPA. All shops are closed on Sundays, also El Corte Inglés. The only shops that are open are the ones that exclusively sell to tourists, such as souvenir shops. Bars and restaurants etc. will be open. Sights will be open too.

ENC 1101 is designed to introduce students to the essay form and to provide instruction and practice in expository writing, including the documented essay.
This class is designated "mixed mode." That means we are half classroom, half online. The classroom portion meets on Mondays, XXXXX. For the rest of the week, all work will be completed online. You can find the specific schedule of class activities here: Course Schedule.
Score of 103 on writing component of PERT or equivalent of other state-approved entry test or minimum grade of C in ENC 0027 or minimum grade of C in ENC 0025C or EAP 1640C, and a score of 106 on reading component of PERT or equivalent score on other state-approved entry test or minimum grade of C in REA 0017C or EAP 1620C.
ENC 1101 is a Gordon Rule course in which the student is required to demonstrate college-level writing skills through multiple assignments. Minimum grade of C is required if ENC 1101 is used to satisfy Gordon Rule and General Education Requirements.

Five pieces of writing will be assigned. The first four will be essays. The last will be professional writing. Below is a brief description of each assignment. A lot more information will be provided, including possible topics and sample essays.
