Here's my breakdown of the 2nd SNCO DLC Leadership and Management Test. I was granted access on Blackboard June 19th, 2017. I printed all 14 chapters and read, verbatim, each and every chapter, highlighting key information along the way.
Students who complete ALS earn 8 Community College of the Air Force credits by completing 192 hours of Course Foundation, Professional Airman, and Supervisory Concepts, in addition to various Communication Assignments and Drill & Ceremony.
Classes required Warren receive an average of 15 credits from technical school. Airmen also receive college credit from basic training, nine credits from Airman Leadership School and eight credits after Airmen receive their 5-skill level.
200 classroom hoursSENIOR NON-COMMISSSIONED OFFICER'S ACADEMY AFSNCOA is a resident CCAF-affiliated program that consists of 200 classroom hours. SNCOA prepares SNCOs for increased leadership responsibilities in the joint, combined, and interagency operating/strategic environment.
25 academic daysDuration. The AFSNCOA program is delivered in 25 academic days. There are 6 classes each year with approximately 300 students in each class.
Enlisted soldiers can expect to be awarded around 5 college credits from their grueling ordeal during basic combat training.

The Airman Leadership School (ALS) is a resident Community College Air Force (CCAF)-affiliated program that consists of 169 curriculum hours.
In order to be eligible to be considered for promotion by the board, Marines must meet the following Time-in-Service (TIS) and Time-in-Grade (TIG) requirements: Staff Sergeant (E-6) - 4 years TIS and 24 months TIG. Gunnery Sergeant (E-7) - 6 years TIS and 3 years TIG.
Promoting from E-3 to E-4 The requirements are 28 months Time in Grade as E-3 or 36 months Time in Service with 20 months Time in grade at E-3, whichever comes first. If you joined as an E-3 you'll promote to E-4 at your 28th month mark in the Air Force.
