You can use the drag and drop option to reorder modules. Click the drag handle next to the module name. Drop the module in the desired location by releasing the mouse.
You can also use the Move To option to reorder modules. Click the Options icon [1] and select the Move Module... link [2].

For both you and your students, the course navigation menu is your means of finding your way around your Canvas course site. However, the menu may not look the same for you and your students. When you view the course navigation menu of a site in which you are an instructor, you will note that some links are black, while others are light gray.
1. To begin adjusting your course navigation menu, click on Settings in the course navigation menu, and choose the Navigation tab at the top.
Once you have customized your course navigation menu to your liking, you can use Canvas’ Student View tool to look at your course site through the eyes of a student. This is an excellent way to make sure that your students will have access to the correct items in the course navigation menu.

1. If you opted to "Select specific content", you will see your import listed under the "Current Jobs" area of the Import Content Page. To choose which parts of your source course will be copied, click the "Select Content" button to the far right of the job.
When you import one course into another, during the import process, there is an option to modify the due dates and availability dates all at one time.
While Import Course Content brings over much of the content developed in a previous version of the course, there are a number of external applications that need to be updated to work correctly in this new copy of your course.

Canvas allows you to alert students of upcoming assignments through many places in the course site other than the Assignments Course Navigation link ( see Canvas student video on Assignments for more information ).

Click Settings on the Course Navigation menu. Click Import Course Content on the right side of the page. In the Content Type menu, select Copy a Canvas Course. Locate the course you want to copy content from by typing the name of the course. Click to select the desired course when it appears.
Once the content has been copied to the new course, there are a number updates/revisions that need to be made. Refer back to this list after you import your content.
