2. PHIL 100 - Introduction to Philosophy

The word ‘introduction’ before any course title is always a good sign. This course addresses philosophical reasoning. This sounds like a lot of vocab, but an easy A nonetheless.

3. RELI 100 - The Human Religious Experience

I’m enrolled in this class now, and it’s pretty good. There are only three exams, and my professor gives great examples of Hinduism and Buddhism concepts. Waiting in line at the bookstore to buy a green scantron and a blue book took longer than the first exam.

4. BIOL 103 - Introductory Biology I

The required textbook was a sad waste of money. But, after taking biology in high school this class was a breeze.

5. COMM 101 - Interpersonal and Group Interaction

7. MATH 106 - Quantitative Reasoning

Typically math classes make me dizzy, but not this one. The Pearson online homework helped me learn the material. There was more critical thinking than numbers, which was very refreshing.

8. HIST 100 - History of Western Civilization

This class covers ancient Mediterranean origins. If you’re sick of learning about Christopher Columbus, this is your type of class!

I Hate the CS Department

So I’m in CS211 I got an email the Thursday before finals saying that I was report for honors violation on an assignment due 4th week of class. I didn’t cheat and did piss poor on the assignment. I got like a 40% and the class average was like a 42% but I was score to significantly improve my grade throughout the semester.

Final Grades

I was checking patriot web and I noticed I got an “NR” for one of my classes. Does anyone know what that stands for or means exactly?

Slip & Slide???

Would I get in trouble for setting up a giant slip and slide on one of the grassy areas on campus? Like it's a public University and it's not illegal... could Mason PD kick me out? Does that violate the code of conduct?

Getting force added into online sections?

I’m currently on the waitlist for the online sections of my classes. I’m not too comfortable with going back to in person yet, and I personally feel as if this mask mandate being lifted across the country is a bit too soon, which makes me even more worried.

Oops

Just realized I forgot to mail my rental books back, is it even worth it now? I heard that if they don’t get them then I can keep them anyway. (RIP $100 from my bank acc)

I feel like this was my worst semester

I feel really guilty that I had a bad semester. My motivation tanked and I couldn’t handle it. The worst part is that I strongly believe that I am a good student but.. Some force inside me just didn’t agree to be disciplined
