The Montana Municipal Institute is a 4.5-day training conference for Montana municipal officials. Participants include municipal clerks, treasurers, finance officers, and elected officials. This online course serves as the academic portal for the Institute, where participants can find presentation materials, quizzes, and presenter biographies.

The Nitrate QuikTest is a qualitative field test that can be used to determine presence or absence of nitrate in small grains, annual forages, and weeds. It is only available for use by trained, certified individuals within the NDSU Extension system. The initial training and certification process will be conducted through face-to-face training sessions, and subsequent recertification will be conducted on an annual basis utilizing an online format. The purpose of the California 4-H Presentation Program is to help youth improve their public speaking abilities. Presentation events are one strategy to reach this goal by allowing youth to practice the knowledge and skills gained and receive constructive feedback on their progress. This requires that evaluations be accurate and consistent.
The Overnight Chaperone Essentials course highlights key aspects of the role of every overnight chaperone in their work with youth. This course is meant to compliment event specific trainings held by the County Extension office or the Event Leader/Director.
This self-directed course is designed for Nebraska 4-H leaders, staff, volunteers, and any chaperone of a 4-H event to better understand their responsibility for creating a protective environment for youth. The course includes lessons, planning guides, example scenarios, and reporting procedures, and the curriculum addresses potential risks that could cause personal harm or harm to a 4-H member. Expanded Learning Opportunities: Experiential Learning is for Employees or Volunteers in Youth Serving Organizations. Participants will learn how children and youth in out-of-school settings reach their full potential as a result of positive youth/adult interactions, purposeful learning experiences, and safe environments.
It will also serve as a refresher course for all returning volunteers. This training has 4 components that are designed to be completed in sequential order. As you complete each section, lessons in the next section will appear.
The iCook 4-H curriculum supplementary training site is a self-directed course for Extension Educators and Health Professionals Working with Families. By participating in this course participants will gain access to additional information, supplementary materials, and trainings to learn how to better implement the iCook 4-H curriculum. The iCook 4-H curriculum is available for purchase through the National 4-H Mall. With purchase of the curriculum, course access information on enrollment is provided. What does it mean to be a 4-H Volunteer? Through a series of four, 15 minute lessons, this course leads participants through a brief overview of 4-H and its important relationships, the importance of creating a safe and inclusive environment, how a volunteer can promote positive youth development in the youth they serve and a brief introduction to experiential learning.
Mindful Me is a 10 lesson curriculum for elementary school aged youth and their caregivers. These lessons can be completed with a single youth or with groups of youth. Lessons are adapted from Mindful Me, a peer-review and published National 4-H Curriculum, which was developed by academics with the University of California.
Extension provides ongoing early childhood professional development that improves the knowledge, skills and abilities of child care providers working with young children. All training is approved by Nevada Registry and meet Nevada State Licensing requirements.
