SACES Selection

Instructors can choose whether their course evaluations are viewable by Duke students through the Student Accessible Course Evaluation System (SACES). Effective June 1 st, 2021, instructors will only be able to opt-in to share their course evaluation results via the EvaluationKit platform.

Instructor Responsibilities for Course Evaluations

Ask students to complete a course evaluation for your class at duke.evaluationkit.com. While we ask that you explain the process to students and encourage them to participate, you will not need to send out any web links or forms electronically. Information on the course evaluation process for students can be found here.

Monitor Evaluation Return Rate in EvaluationKit

The Response Rate Tracker is a tool for viewing evaluation results in real time, including the number of respondents out of total enrollments, response rate percentages, and students who opted out of the survey.
