Jul 10, 2020 · A second way to share an existing course would be to export the course as a package (or Canvas cartridge) through the Course settings page. You could then share it by emailing it (depending on the amount of data) or share it by another means, such as Google Drive. Your friend would then import the course into a new course shell in Canvas.

In Global Navigation, click the Courses link [1], then click the name of the course you want to share to Commons [2]. Open Settings In Course Navigation, click the Settings link. Share to Commons In the sidebar, click the Share to Commons link.
To send your page to another instructor, click or type in the Send to field [1] . Then click the name of the instructor to receive your page [2]. Note: You can send the page to multiple instructors at one time.

The simplest way to do that is to 1) export the quiz from Canvas to your computer, then 2) email the export file to your colleague, and then 3) they can import it into their own site.
Click Settings from the left-hand menu. Click ‘Import Course Content’ from the right-hand menu. Under Import Content, select Content Type “Canvas Course Export Package”. For Source, click the Choose File or B rowse button and navigate to the .zip file you saved in step #1.
